Morning Dolls 
I’m happy to be blogging today, its been a crazy week and I’ve been very busy with school work and all my exam readings (which hasn’t been so easy)…Anyways so being the magazine junkie that i am, i have put together a few things i want to share with you guys…!
As we all know, its winter already and the cold is really setting in, our aim this season should be to keep ourselves warm and “kinda” be in style at the same time.. Trends help shape up our personal styles but we have to also know how to wear them (and not the other way round).Learn to personalize these trends. I’ve gathered a few of my fav. trends & pieces for the fall and I’m hoping that with my help, you will be able to incorporate these pieces into your everyday look(s)
1. Fur Real?! (& Faux too)
This falls runway shows have consistently showcased various fur collections by different designers such as Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Eto, Anna Sui, Nina Ricci, Missoni, Isaak Mizrahi and etc.
Now, Unless your J-lo, i’d advice that you use fur as a form of “accent” to your outfit. When fur is used as an accent, it highlights your outfit. Accents may be fur scarves,vests,trapper hats or gloves. When choosing faux fur its important to feel it and make sure its not cheap looking. Personally if i was to wear an outfit and accent it with fur, i will most likely wear black clothing and accessories so that my fur is more notable and my winter look is glammed up.

2.Outerwear (Trench coats / Puffer Jackets)
Puffer jackets and trench coats aren’t new, (they are very timeless fall fashion trends) however i can say they’ve become more fashionable over the years. Staying warm and cozy during this season is a must, its also important that you know that just because its winter doesn’t mean you have to look like a stuffed marshmallow. Winter looks don’t always have to be so bulky looking,unattractive and boring, it can be very cute too. Personally, i like outerwear with dramatic collars. I also like outerwear that have belts; they give your waist a sexy silhouette. Also, you can add a scarf to it and wear thin layers of clothes inside or thermal wear to provide layers and with this you don’t have to wear more than one jacket. Go to a store, try the jacket on and make sure it looks good on you and not just the mannequin. Feel free to look up celeb styles (Kate Hudson and Scarlett Johansson) to have other ideas on how to rock a fab winter look!

3. Knee-high boots
Of all the different shoes to wear in the fall,Thigh high boots are your best bet. They are very HOT for the season. and they help elongate the legs in most cases. This is one daring trend and to be honest i don’t own a pair of THBs yet (thanks to my not-so-very-small-feet size) but i hope to order a pair from a website i just found (would post below) sooner or later. If i were to rock these, i would pair it with a short dress with translucent tights on, or skinny jeans and a nice simple top.

4. Messenger Bags
Im really not sure why this is a trend this fall, maybe it is because we can store things inside (gloves,chapstick, lotion,napkin and other female stuff) or because it adds to our outfit by giving us a bolder look, or perhaps just because i said so (kidding). Messenger bags are either way, a big fashion trend and are very functional and fashionable for the season.

Looking good and keeping warm during the fall requires fashion intuition and a bit of effort. Shopping for winter can be somewhat tricky, but if you know what your personal style is and what fits your body type (another topic I’ll be discussing soon), it shouldn’t be that hard to come up with something creative!
